PROXIMITY FM CONCEPTS
- Distance = Volume: An operator's distance from the center determines its output
amplitude; center is full volume, edge is silent.
- Proximity = Modulation: The distance between operators controls FM depth; closer
points modulate each other more intensely.
- Vector Automation: You can record and loop the movement path of any operator to
create evolving, self-generating textures.
- Parameter Interpolation: All knob changes (filters, envelopes) can be recorded in
real-time for synchronized automation.
- Keyboard Control: Use keys A-K to trigger notes and
Z/X to shift octaves.
- Global Controls: Play/Pause toggles movement;
Clear (X) erases recording; Hold (Square) sustains notes
indefinitely; Speed scales playback time; Save/Load
exports/imports your session as a JSON file.
