Jake's current projects include research into real-time spectral audio processing, live cinema, no-input mixing, electro-acoustic improvisation, disability aesthetics, and latin inflected drum and bass.
He's is a graduate of Bard college where he studied composition with Marina Rosenfeld and Joan Tower. Since, he has performed at the Museum of Modern Art with Tania Bruguera, at Olana with Pauline Oliveros, at the Vision Festival with William Parker, the Performa Biennial with Marina Rosenfeld, at Lincoln Center Out of Doors with Larry Harlow, Germany’s Stimmen Festival with Lisa Sokolov, and with Steve Swell in-residency at The Stone.
He is currently pursuing a PhD in Music and Multimedia Composition from Brown University.
